Work starts
Before you ask
The questions that come up.
If yours is not here, send it and you get a straight answer in writing.
Ask about your projectYes, on every project, at no extra cost. You get the packaged InDesign or Illustrator file with fonts and links. Plenty of studios hold that back so you have to come back to them. Holding your file hostage is not a business model I want.
I write it, and the charge scales with the size of the document rather than being one flat fee. It is priced per tier in the estimator so you can see the figure before deciding. Annual reports skip this, because clients always supply that text.
As many as it takes. That is not a slogan, it is in the price of every editorial project. A capped-rounds contract makes both of us argue about whether a change counts, which is a worse use of your time than the change itself.
Yes, and that is the normal case. Send the guideline document, or just the logo and the fonts if no guideline exists. If your brand assets are thin I will say so, and I will not quietly invent a brand system inside a brochure.
Bleed, crop marks, CMYK where the printer wants CMYK, and images at the resolution the press needs. Send me the printer's spec sheet if you have one and I will build to it exactly rather than to a general standard.
Send me the document you have now
Email me your current profile, report, or deck and I will tell you what I would change and what it would cost. No charge, no call required, and a written reply within one business day.
